Gorham Congregational Church Invites Children
to Creating Faith Bible Camp
Gorham, NH – AUG 3, 2026 — The Gorham Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, is excited to announce its upcoming vacation bible school "Creating Faith Bible Camp” running from Tuesday, August 11 through Thursday, August 13. The free community program takes place daily from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 141 Main Street, Gorham, New Hampshire. Children ages 4 years old through 13 are invited to embark on an exciting journey of Bible stories, joy-filled music, creative arts and crafts, fun games, and tasty snacks. This year’s theme, "Creating Faith” focuses on discovering God's great love for us and how to find that love in the world.
Combining the theme of creation with famous artists lives the campers will learn that art is God’s creative power in action. Every created thing sings with the love an artist who sees. And each child is an artist.
“It is a joy to teach children about Jesus. Making the stories of the Bible accessible to them is an opportunity to create their faith. Summer Bible camp allows the children in our community to make new friends, have fun, and learn timeless truths about God’s love in an engaging environment,” said Vicky McGillicuddy church school educator.
